Mining can be a dangerous environment, risk of accidents is ever-present, so it pays to be well-equipped to recognise and act on unsafe workplaces and practices. It’s not only the right thing to do, it’s unlawful to ignore hazards and risks.
The purpose of this training is to improve and enhance your awareness of risk identification, developing your communication skills. You’ll acquire different skills you never knew existed. You’ll also develop high-level problem solving skills in a high-stress environment, new ways of working with your team to get the most out of them and of course understanding legislation and applying it correctly in the workplace.
